Social Media Campaign for a Blockchain Based Fashion Tech Startup

A social media campaign focussing only on brand awareness  

THE BACKGROUND

Our client is a blockchain based fashion-tech start-up who have built a SaaS platform that traces the origin of a fabric. Their main objective is to build a transparent fashion ecosystem that is sustainable and environment friendly. The challenge was to get more visibility for their brand before participating in an upcoming event. As a fashion-tech Blockchain start-up, they wanted to leverage their social media platforms to push their objective and let brands know what they stand for. The idea was to create engaging posts that involves brands and their niche audience 

THE APPROACH

We had around two weeks to kickstart the campaign. So the plan was drawn quickly and we identified some low hanging fruits which could help us in meeting our marketing objectives. 

We created a campaign plan tied up to organization’s objective studying their social media channels, niche, and other fashion brands. We came up with a unique 10 sustainable fashion hacks post series on Instagram to spread awareness among fashionistas on how to lead a sustainable fashion lifestyle. Because the niche was fashion, we used Instagram as the primary platform. 

We started posting Instagram posts, tweets on a regular basis tagging influencers and brands from the fashion niche to gain better engagement. Facebook and LinkedIn were used as more of a reach amplification platform. LinkedIn was used specifically for an amplification program to ensure that we reached the decision makers and influencers. Specific paid campaigns on LinkedIn ensured brand visibility in front of the relevant target audience. 

In addition, we repurposed the content across platforms to get more reach. 

And, in a span of 14 days, we published 111 posts across all social media channels combined. Here is a breakdown, 

  • Instagram– 13 posts, 7 stories 
  • Twitter– 60 Tweets 
  • LinkedIn– 12 updates 
  • Facebook– 19 posts  

RESULTS

  • 20.1 k impressions on Twitter along with 13 new followers 
  • 100 profile visits, 346 new accounts reached, and 2573 impressions on Instagram 
  • 91% increase in the number of followers on LinkedIn 
  • 50+ likes on Facebook
